HaPpY HaLLoWEEN!

Tyler was Frog-man for Halloween this year. I think I'm getting my money's worth out of this costume..... Well worth it though, he's a cutie pie!

Tyler is such a sweetheart. I just love this baby so much!

OK, so here's the deal with SPIDERMAN!! Originally the boys were going to be transformers for Halloween this year because we went to the store and they didn't have Colby's size in the spiderman costume.... SOOOO, we bought the transformer costumes and it was all settled right?? Wrong...... I just can't handle the thought of my kids not getting to be what they REALLY wanted to be for Halloween. So I found Colby's size in the spiderman costume, and I bought that one too!! The day before Halloween, Derek and I surprised them with these new costumes! They were SOOOO excited! I guess you could call me a sucker. They have been spiderman two years in a row! Oh-well, thats their favorite!

We went to the Rose Ward Carnival this year. It was so much fun. They had face painting (thanks for the spider webs Shauna!!) and they had a cupcake walk, bobbing for apples, a dougnut eating contest, miniture golf, pumpkin bowling, and yummy dinner!! It was great!

My sister Angie brought her 4 kids down from Rigby to trick-or-treat at my house this year. It was so fun to see her cute kids in their costumes. L-R is Layton, Morgan holding Tyler, Dusty, Allie, Kate, and Colby. They are such great friends and I'm so glad they came to visit us!

We Got That SOB!!

I had to say goodbye to the Honda today... We out grew the car and so now we have an SOB! We are so excited about it. It's a Toyota Highlander. It's got plenty of elbow room for our boys, and it's a lot of fun to drive (when it's my turn)! It's so much more convenient for our family. I'm so glad we got it. I hated putting carseats in and out of our little car. This is so much bigger! I love it!

Toothless!

Dusty finally lost his first tooth. We have been working on it for days now. It was ridiculous but the little bugger wouldn't come out! He came home from school today and he had this big long story about how it happened on the playground and his teacher put it in a baggie for him. Needless to say he was very anxious to go to bed tonight so that the tooth fairy would come. He is a little worried about the rain though, he asked me if fairy's could fly in the rain....
Oh, to be a kid again!

SOB?

So Derek and I have been looking to buy a new car. Well, not a NEW car, but one that is new to us! And we have been test driving some SUV's. We told Dusty and Colby that we might buy an SUV so we would have more room. Well, Colby is a little confused, and he keeps calling it an SOB. He says "Grandpa, we are going to get an SOB!!", or "Dad, when is the SOB coming? It's too funny to correct! :) He's still trying to figure everything out. Derek and I will be deep in conversation and Colby will be really quiet.... After a little while he finally says, "What are you guys even talking about?" I love that kid!

General Conference Weekend!

I LOVE listening to General Conference. The speakers have such an awesome way of helping you realize the things you need to work on, as well as helping you understand just how important you are to our Heavenly Father. These days it's hard to turn on the TV and watch anything uplifting. I welcome the feeling that General Conference brings into my home. I particularly enjoyed Pres. Bednar's talk today. He has such a wonderful way of teaching and inviting the spirit into his talk. And the beautiful music brings tears to my eyes. (of course EVERYTHING does, now that I have children...... I cried watching the Miss America pageants!!) I am just thankful to have the gospel in my life. I support the church 100% and am proud to be one of it's many members! Can't wait until tomorrow!

Funny Little Things!

I am so entertained every day, by the cute little things the boys say.... So, I decided to share this one as well as Colbys! Yesterday at church, Derek and Dusty were talking about missionaries. Derek said, "Did you know that I went on a mission Dust?", Dusty said "Yup, you went to Texas". Then Derek said, "Thats right, do you know where in Texas?", and Dusty thought for a few seconds....... And said, "Ummmm, Roadhouse?" :)

It was so funny, can you tell we eat there a ton? Thats our favorite place. Whenever we go to I.F or Poky, the boys always ask if we're going to roadhouse! It's pretty funny. They have the best food ever!
